Our First Grant!
Innovate UK drives productivity and economic growth by supporting businesses to develop and realise the potential of new ideas.
Our grant will help fund develop specialist footwear to treat conditions such as foot ulcers in diabetics patients. Our shoes will cost 70% less than the current solution as well as save around 2 hours of clinicians time per patient! This prestigious grant is a huge milestone for us and we're incredibly excited to share our progress over the coming months.
All-new, All-Black Midsoles
After an outpour of requests, we are finally introducing Luxe, Black PolyMorphic midsoles to the Fyous Sport 2.0. Available on the Fyous website this October.
NHS Partnership
Our key partnership with the NHS gives us the fascinating opportunity to get to the heart of our client's custom-fit needs.
After our first Podiatry Show, we took on the challenge of creating the Ultimate Fit (see above) for our NHS Patient, Assia, who suffers with Epidermolysis Bullosa.
EB, as it is more commonly known, is a rare skin condition that causes the fragile skin around Assia's feet to blister, making it infinitely difficult to find shoes to comfortably fit her feet, requiring them to be bandaged at all times. Catering to these unique requirements has been a pivotal case study for Fyous and has been a catalyst for ongoing improvement within in our service!
New and Improved Scanning Aid
With this month's milestone announcements at the helm of Fyous News, the development of our new scanning aid has been the quiet win on our agenda. The new, sleek design is vastly improved in durability and functionality, producing more efficient scanning data than ever before. We're looking forward to unveiling and demonstrating the new aid live, at our Scanning Party on the 13th.
