Fyous is fast-growing, and we’re looking to scale for 2023. An up-coming, thriving firm, we’re an integral part of the fast-growing Tech eco-system in South Yorkshire. Aided by our proprietary Polymorphic moulding technology and an innovative sizing system, we aim to break outdated business patterns and fix new problems within the footwear industry, starting with foot health, wellbeing and affordable and fast custom-fit footwear. Despite Fyous still being in the development phase, we have attracted attention from – the British Footwear Association, a Team GB Athlete – and most notably NHS England, with whom we secured a partnership - in 2022. Custom footwear can take up to 6 months and cost £1000s, Fyous already has the ability to cut those numbers in half. Having newly been shortlisted in Business Insider’s Top 50 Most Exciting Businesses for 2023 and for 2 categories in the Made in Yorkshire 2023 Awards, it’s safe to say that our Sheffield start-up is on the fast-track to small enterprise, with a new rebrand, complete with a collection launch in Spring 2023 to boot. (You can read more about this below) Since the establishment of our brand, we have received over 100 orders for our custom-made footwear from across the globe and we’re steadily becoming a competitive choice for those demanding a range of needs from their footwear, including medical and sport recovery and transitional barefoot shoes. Our team is making fantastic headway with the development of both our Akela and Sport prototypes, with vast improvements to both our PolyMorphic midsoles and their respective uppers! Creating footwear that helps recover and maintain the health of your feet, while still remaining aesthetically-pleasing is no easy task, but we’re pleased to reveal that our team are nearing the end of development for both styles, with the beginning of fit tests and the promise of a product launch this spring! Keep an eye out for the March Fyous News for more exciting details on our fit tests, and the Spring launch of our new styles!

What is the P4? P4 is a well established and highly successful programme which seeks the world’s leading Precision Medicine start-ups to support through development, regulation, investment, adoption and scale to UK and international markets to innovate and advance the healthcare landscape. The P4SY is a brand-new programme for South Yorkshire, which has been created to support the soft landing and scaling of health and med tech companies in the region. What’s more, the programme will help to develop commercial opportunities, clinical conversations and engagement with our academic clinical network. The National Outdoor Expo brings together inspirational speakers (Ben Fogle, Ray Mears, to name a few), cutting-edge technologies and the best in gear, all under one roof. So naturally, we feel very lucky to be exhibiting our new footwear with the best of them at the prestigious Birmingham venue this March! The event couldn’t come at a better time for us, aligning with the Springtime launch of our new collection.
